Re: average # of hours worked per week?
i'm thinking about just applying to dental school instead. the salaries for AA's seem to be declining steadily, and i recently discovered that dentists only work an average of around 30 hours/week. i have also shadowed a dentist and can see myself doing that kind of work. i went into this for many reasons, including one which was to earn the minimum $130 - 140k salary that was tossed around several years ago. now the starting salaries seem to be plummeting to $100k - 110k, so why would i opt to make that kind of money when i can make double that as a dentist working fewer hours?
