Re: average # of hours worked per week?
all i'm saying is that generally speaking, the GA market for anesthetists seems to be getting filled. i shadowed at a hospital a couple weeks ago, and almost all the AA's/CRNA's there were in their 20's or early 30's. in fact, there are only 12 CRNA jobs posted on gaswork.com for the entire state of GA, and 6 of them are for temporary locum tenens gigs and 1 is for a part-time CRNA. in other words, only 5 CRNA's are heavily needed (i.e., needed enough for the anesthesia group/recruiting agency to post an ad). and consider this... how many of those groups would be willing to hire an AA? i have emailed recruiters who posted CRNA jobs in my area b4 and they said the groups wanted CRNA's only. that sucks....
