those are some nice career suggestions you offered, but none of them offer a guaranteed "path" to actually getting those jobs, unlike the jobs in the medical field that pay six-figs. Being an investment banker, bigshot analyst, etc. requires connections, luck, right-place-at-the-right-time magic, etc. many of the people who set out to become one of any of those professionals never make it. it's a gamble, whereas the procedure of going to college, dental/medical school, and then residency leads to a guaranteed six figs (unless health reform changes things). but AA school in particular leads to always being someone else's employee and most likely never earning over $160 or $170k, maybe.
