Nice idea, Ash! It's been a while! So great to see how things are going for you. You know, we too have known each other for 13 years!

Life: Overall, I feel pretty lucky with my life these days. I'm not sure if this is a state of mind, or if I truly am insanely privileged. Perhaps one helps the other? It's not without it's downs though of course... I come from complex family dynamics and creating boundaries has meant some grief in that department. Work life is made somewhat difficult and expensive living in two countries, but somehow I'm making it happen. I'm moving my body more and more, and I realised recently that even though I'm not as fit/healthy as I want to be, for the first time my fitness and overall body discomfort is on the improve rather than the steady decline that naturally happens with age, so that's pretty awesome :D

Love: Well, what can I say. Obviously I'm very lucky in this department :D Alyx is everything you imagine her to be. She's kind, compassionate and thoughtful (mostly!), and sexy! She knows how wield a paddle that's for sure. She's much more kooky than you'd think, which makes me laugh everyday (as does her wicked sense of humour).

Travel: Pretty similar to Alyx really. I will say I'm looking forward to travelling just the two of us as we haven't done that for a while. I feel like we've been catering to family for all our trips (and their trips here) in the past few years (which is great, but this one coming up is just for us).
