I have had a lot of bad chips in England, to tell you the truth. They were always soggy and no crisp. Like a proper chip is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And properly warm! I have had my fair share of cold and soggy chips! I mean wtf.
It's probably because I've never been to a place where they do it properly. Mainly I got bad chips while ordering Take-Away from my dorm. I mean I just ordered food from a menu I found in the hallway, and apparently there are a lot of crappy take-out places. Btw. I could not believe they were allowed to sell alcohol and cigarettes with the take-out. In Norway they could never do that. I once got a pack of ciggies with my meal, but don't tell my mum!!!
THe Chinese take-away was the best. Golden Dragon had dumplings. Nmmmm... *drooling* I have a thing for potstickers, guys... I just love them so much. We don't have them here, so I make them sometimes. I can get Gyoza wrappers from a Global shop, but it is actually best to make the wrappers yourself.
