I didn't know if anyone else has noticed that in each of the social media sites there seems to be a decline in the participation. I don't think it is related to summer vacation since I have noticed it for over a year now on each one.
Every now and then someone new on the FB sites will pop up with a "remember when...." question about a forgotten store or restaurant. That will generate some replies but it dies out after awhile.
Are people just not interested anymore? Or, are they using some other form of media?
Anyone else notice? Ideas?
I am sure Henry would like to see this site keep going. It has lasted a long time since it's beginning.
Speaking of memories of stores, I found an old report of a 1977 shoplifter arrest at Clarks in Brooklyn. How many different names has that place gone through?
