Speaking of Pumphrey aka Patapsco Park, In one of the funniest pranks I ever heard of, George Gibmeyer and Vernon Woody were, I believe, northern detectives. they took a portable tape recorder to the Amtrak station in Hanover near Westinghouse and recorded the Amtrak coming thru. Theu then waited till about 3 in the morning and went up on one of the high streets up the hill in Pumphrey and played back the Amtrak coming thru while holding the PA mike next to the recorder. I was told all kinds of lights came on in houses hearing the train coming with no railroad tracks anywere around. There was some really funny shit done back in our day.
