I would agree with brother Drew on the load suggestion.I load my own shells. The load I have shot many thousand of checks out at about 1150-1180 FPS with 1 ounce of shot.I have never had any problems out of this load in any of my Smith guns with many years of being shot with this load.On rare occasion I have shot 1200FPS with 1.125 ounce of shot in some of my Smiths.By doing this I had two for end lugs come loose.two ribs come loose and several stocks chip or crack in some way.Need I say more about loads.I know that some shoot heavy loads all the time and it works for them ,great. If I were buying WinchesterAA's,I would buy the 2.750 dram by 1 ounce that clocks 1180FPS with around 7,000-8,000 PSI.I try to duplicate this load with my loads as best that I can.Another factory shell that has my attention is the very new Rio Eletes with cork wads.I have never shot these or tested them but they look good for these older guns.I reload some cork wads and they always have less recoil and better patterns.
