Tom is correct and would know more about these guns than anyone. The for-end escutcheon for a 1902 ejector gun would have the 7/8" round plate with the thumb wheel held by the two wood screws. As stated from Tom this would be the Type II ejectors with the second style escutcheon only found on 1902 ejector guns. This is from a c.1902 No.2E
