"AA\'s can\'t afford a password protected board. AA\'s can\'t stand on their own, they have to cry ( LIE ) that their the same as CRNA\'s. "
-Well AAs are not claiming they are the same as CRNAs, both do the same thing just have different educational background.
"AA\'s are HATED by most MDA\'s, way else after 30 years are you still not allowed to work in most states and refused a license in almost every state? "
-Actually AAs were created by MDAs, the still not allowed to work in most states ist that they are relatively new and because CRNAs are busy fighting to keep AAs from practicing instead of practicing themselves, taking call, working overtime. And you contradicted yourself stating that, "A couple of jackass MDA\'s and one multi million dollar anesthesia group have whipped up the AA dream as a last dying gasp of the failed ASA goals." -You are agreeing that AAs are produced by MDAs yet earlier you said how AAs are hated by MDAs.
-CRNAs claim how they have better training and/or clinical experience but looking at the master's programs for both CRNA and AA's, AA's have to have a bit more hours of training specifically in anesthesiology care look at curriculum/requirements for both schools. The 1-2 year critical care experience for CRNA programs are helpful but not exactly towards anesthesiology care, but yes it would help with critical situations. Thats why it is best to work with anesthesiologists.
Both AA's and CRNAs have to have continued education which is a must for all health care but AA's have to continue learning new medical updates and show it by renewing their certificate every 6 years by examination whereas a CRNA does not. All physicians have to take examinations after so many years depending on specialty to maintain licence, etc as well.
********* Why do CRNAs continue to say they have better training due to clincal experience etc. than AAs for their reason why AAs should not practice, while the CRNAs are fighting to practice independently without an Anesthesiologist/physician when clearly they don't have nearly the same length, depth, and difficulty of training as physicians not to mention Anethesiology specialists who all rotate through fm,ob,surg, ped, and other electives like em,anest, opth. ---CRNAs are fighting in fear of competition. There is no need to worry, there will always be jobs even if there is an abundant supply there will always be a job availible. Salary may decrease but thats not the reason you are in this career right??
