Just an up-date on this. When the vehicle went into the main dealers the second time, they carried out more or less the same procedure (FOC) as on the first occasion with the parting words that if it re-occurs again then it requires a new DPF. The route I intend to follow now is with DPF deletions and a re-map. I am waiting for a setting file from Dimsport in Italy and then go from there. I do not see the point now in following the same procedures as carried out by Vauxhall for a 3rd time.
