This week i to have looked at a insignia with a dpf code of p2453 [5a].

The pressure sensor seamed to be reading ok. So looked the code up on vaux tis,

There was a tsb which said to clear the code you had to re adapt the pressure sensor and wait for them to investigate the fault further.

So they can change the software to fix the fault. I will get you a copy of the tsb.

I then checked for a software update and there was one relating to the dpf temp sensors or something like that[ Its not always that clear what there for.]

The car was a lease car and they wouldn't pay for the update. They spoke to vaux and they would do it free of charge. hth.
