Year of Manufacture *: 2007 '07
Engine Size and Code *: 2000 BRD
( Optional ) Scanner Used: VCDS
( Optional) Fault Codes: P2002 / 08194
Have this one in at present, had engine management light and glowplug light and DPF symbol on display.
Scanned vehicle and a permanent EGR fault was present, fitted a new EGR and this fault has gone.
I have looked back on the forums and the dpf sensor seems common, confirmed by tps sales and stock levels.
I have changed the sensor, but hit a dead end, in measuring blocks the soot level is 92.5%.
So I cannot and darednt force a regen.
If I was to have this washed out by a company local to me, will the car sense the differential pressure difference and let me do a regen?
I dont have any real experience with these so any hints would be good.
Ross tech wiki suggest that over 45% soot content and the trap should be replaced.
Has anyone done a cleanout?
Thanks in advance.
Liam.
