Isn't there an adaptation to be done when fitting a new dpf sensor? Either a vag com job or key on/off 5 times dependant on year. Also I believe there's a software update.
Trouble with removing the dpf is you then need it remapped. I would have thought at that saturation level you'd have more than just a light.
