At least outwardly, the Party has to be led and run by older (not Chuck Schumer old) experienced men. Preferably men who can legitimately portray themselves as Western / Midwestern / Southern average joes (even as we appreciate that most prominent national politicians are anything but average). Guys with some degree of blue collar in their distant backgrounds. Perhaps military experience as well. Those are the only people who have any chance of luring back male voters.
