i listened to part of a conversation he had with ken burns this morning. ken burns is pretty clearly a left wing guy... but he has had an accomplished career as a documentary maker, and as such has some interesting insights to contribute. i came away thinking he was a good guy and that i was interested in watching his upcoming series on the Ameican Revolution.

i think the idea that jre is reinforcing political or social positions is mostly coming from people in legacy media who arent familiar with the content. that shoe doesn't fit in my experience.
