Good post Spurdle, the decision completely altered the game from a supporters point of view too. It turned what could have been quite an entertaining game into a virtual game of attack and defence. There has to be some accountability for these refs.
Going off Bryns post it does sound like there is real possibility for bias from certain refs towards some teams. There is a lot of money being invested even in the lower leagues and the standard needs lifting without doubt.
