Those players that left were not showing any form that would fit into JWs preferred formation/style.
Makosso gave the ball away most times he was in possession, JW rightly or wrongly wants the ball passed out from the back. Nordas couldnt link the play and wasn't a goal threat, Wells was preferred even though he had no goal threat, Alli appeared to have gorgotten how to get past his full back and Bamall came in and played really well.
Fanne was just inconsistent.
Certain players will fit certain managers, that's just the way it is.
