I think this is kind of a backwoods auction where they are dealing mostly at the low end of the spectrum and price point; they don't frequently encounter quality doubles. Their inventory always includes a number of altered guns that look like they have had some serious (presumably well intentioned) amateur gunsmithing. For instance, I have seen guns where ribs have been reattached with JB Weld, barrels have been parkerized, etc. They are generally described as being in good condition. I suppose it is relative. However, this fake Smith is a deception and something that has been brought to their attention. I believe they should take action and remove it from the auction.
