    Well got home and checked the site and saw the questions raised. I will admit I am not expert, so I will post a few more pictures so the real experts can see things better, I hope.

    To me, the forearm sure looks like it fits the rest of the gun, i.e. finish, grain, over all appearance, etc... How can one tell if it is original or not?

    On the stamping, there is bluing down in those letters and in between the little spaces, etc... I am very comfortable saying that it's original in that respect. I found something tonight that I wasn't aware of before on the flats...on one side NP is stamped, on the other side P is stamped, pictures will show this I hope.

    With these pictures, please tell me your thoughts now. I thougth I did really good with this gun...some of the posts have me doubting myself, well...not really

    By the way, I ordered letters for this gun as well as my Crown this past Saturday. Thought it was free that day, but was told that was not the case? At any rate...they should be here in two weeks...hope they shed some light on things, until then, I hope some of you will reply with your thoughts on these pictures. Thanks in advance.
