The set-up will not be a modified skeet layout, it is a compact course in the true sense and, in past events, typicaly involves 6 traps throwing a wide variety of targets at varying speeds, heights, and angles. To a man, all but a single shooter who posted a 25-straight in last year's championship round (and LC and Parker shooters have shot hundreds of practice and competition rounds at Deep River in the 3 years of this event) would tell you the layout will challenge any shooter! And again, you are most correct; if you are serious regarding performing well, the time to practice is BEFORE you come to the event. In the past, when I had time to shoot and shot 2-300 targets a week, I always shot well. My scores nowadays, shooting 3 rounds of skeet a year, are pathetic.
