    No, it was definitely not like a NSCA shoot. The same targets were used for practice as for the qualification round. That would never happen at a NSCA shoot. A lot of the 'regulars' apparently knew that and they shot round after round of practice targets. That was nice for the club's ROI because it was an incentive to those regulars to spend a lot of money for practice. Also the club saved the labor expense of changing the traps for the qualification. Not so good for the shooters who weren't in the know; guess who most of the qualifiers were? I could look past this if the club was not affiliated with the NSCA and didn't know better. However, it is, and registered NSCA tournaments are held there regularly. I've heard that things will be different for this years event but I haven't seen that in writing from anyone who is in authority at the club. That would be better than seeing wishful thinking posts on this and the Parker sites.
