Yeah its obviously a better all round view on the box. I love being there in person though. I'm a proper golf nerd and really enjoy being around the game at that level.

I dont think the tv experience properly conveys how good they are. I remember watching Woods up close at Hoylake the year he won there, and was stood right by him hitting an iron on a par 3. You can literally feel the strike through your feet. The sound of the ball on the club is different. Hard to explain without being there and experiencing it really.

I've been to loads of Opens and followed Faldo round St Andrews for four days when he won in 1990 and Muirfield when won in 1992. Woukd have seen more on telly without doubt, but loved being there and seeing it myself.
