Best way to watch golf is either following a specific game (can be hard to do at a packed event) or stay by a specific green or teeing area and catch most of the players through the day. You do obviously get a far more rounded view on the telly, but for golf lovers it's more about being amongst the elite and getting an appreciation of the incredible talent and quality they have. Anyone who thinks events like the majors and the Ryder Cup arent massively atmospheric events are way out of touch or just kidding themselves, whether they like the game or not.
