A big thankyou first to Charles who found this story and alerted the RCMB to it. The Guardian also has an article http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/nov/10/christian-coronations-legal-challenge-monarchs
An article in The Sunday Times of 10 November 2013 tells of the National Secular Society instructing lawyers to investigate challenging the oaths connected with accession and coronation.
In my view, we are unlikely to ever see a coronation in any way approaching the grandeur and awe of the 1953 ceremony.
But, will there be any equivalent to a grand installation or similar?
Will there be any acknowledgement of the spiritual aspect of life at all?
