On Tuesday, 30 April 2013, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands will sign an instrument of abdication.
On the same day will be the investiture of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

This occasion in the Netherlands does not involve an actual crowning nor does a crowning follow at a later date.

There will be a dinner on the evening before and celebrations on the day.
