Link: Gold State Coach
There were different start locations and for many people it was a very early start.
Returning after the Coronation the procession was mostly in the reverse order, with a couple of notable exceptions. Earl Mountbatten and the Duke of Gloucester came out of their carriages and escorted the Gold State Coach behind it. There were also a couple of Divisions of the Sovereign's escort that followed that coach on the return journey. These were then followed by many troops from various of the Commonwealth countries.
