We have certainly explored it up and down, but I quickly get out of my depth when things turn in the political direction.

The fact that monarchy is above politics is just one of the reasons I like it so much as a system of government. It is such a relief to have somewhere else to focus.

Sure, there will be a politicial context to be navigated carefully before the Scottish position is finalised.
I will follow their pursuit of independence with closer interest in future.
