I have not yet absorbed it all but it seems that King Charles would be Head of State in Scotland on accession to the throne.

However, as I see it, any religious "reinforcement" of that in Scotland could not be performed by any Church of England.

We come up against the matter of the established Church.

Is it basically as simple as that?
