Here's an amusing story of an illicit snap-shot but it illustrates nicely what I mean. The National Anthem has just ended and the orchestra has continued with Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance No 1. They fluffed the opening of the Elgar because they were so distracted by what was unfolding beneath them.
