The name of a cellist I once knew of came to mind immediately, who could have been there, and it was just the sort of thing he would do. But no.
More and more as I read the books, and the postings here on the RCMB, do I get the feel of a very lengthy performance with drama and theatre; one high moment or climax after another like an opera of Wagner.
I have read that the gold robes were astonishing for those who saw them close up. Not until cameras were allowed in the Abbey had more than a handful of people ever seen such robes or really knew of them.
The way you have described the Queen's emerging from the Chapel sets yet another breathless scene.
