It does seem to be the convention for the Queen Consort to travel bareheaded to her coronation with the King.
Queen Mary bareheaded in 1911 with King George V seated on their Chairs of State in the Abbey.
I know this is not proof that Queen Mary travelled there bareheaded. (The KIng has removed the Cap of Maintenance.)
