It is not. It is nostalgia. Like vinyl records. If you have a Barnes & Nobles bookstore close by, drop in. There are vinyl albums being sold $20 - over $100, alongside turntables.

The Analog TV's are good for old school gaming (Atari 2600, Nintendo Original etc).

Hunter is correct though, the vintage hardware was much more better made. FM and AM receivers tuned more reliably, less noise, cleaner sounding audio and fidelity.
