WMAQ stunted from 5AM until Noon. They ran the "WMAQ Chicago" jingle TOH and the tone at the top of the hour even after the flip. Went on for a few days. WMAQ's studio was in the NBC Tower, WSCR was in a different location for quite awhile.
Couple weeks later 1160 switched to a simulcast of WXRT at Midnight. Around August 14th or 15th. The jock said "This is my first time saying this. WXRT AM and FM Chicago."
Salem eventually bought 1160 and simulcast their Milwaukee station until The Fish was ready for 106.7. Salem changed the calls in Milwaukee to WYLO (Which were that station's original calls) to make "WYLL, WYLO" sound better at the top of the hour. Once everything was settled with WYLL going to 1160, and The Fish on 106.7, the Milwaukee calls changed to WRRD.
