Bill, you may be right. Never had one break before on this engine but have others that dist. ran off cam. Been out of the mechanicing business too long. Was once Master Certified. 20+ years ago. But am questioning correct belt length. Depending on one tooth difference in belt position with tension on belt crank will be about 4 degrees before or after. Never dead on zero. Only belt I can find is 100 tooth.
