Re: Timing Belt
Before I touch that compressor, I will pull a plug wire and test for spark with my spark tester. IF no spark then I will move the compressor and do a full tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition module( I think it has one but has been so long I don't remember, 84 should have one). If there is spark I will then pull all plugs and do compression anyway. 15K ago when I replaced the last timing belt and all the gaskets it was still running around 145 lbs(OE specks) on all four cylinders. Un fortunately I don't have a of of time to devote to it right now so I don't have any idea how long it will take me to get around to doing all this since it is not necessary to be used at this time.
