It would seem the Bible is the Synthesis of all other religions, but such is the polar opposite of the truth! YAH, is in Controversy with all these other Religons!
And by Joseph, we see the entire world bow before Yah!
But, Before Joseph will ever rise to
power, while he is in Egypt his mother dies, but how can we know this by Scripture?
Well, in the latter chapters of Genesis Benjamin is
called “the child of Jacobs old age” later on by his Brothers pleading with Joseph at a point they did not yet know this Ruler of Egypt was their brother. And in chapters of Genesis following chapter 37 we will see that Benjamin is referred to
be “A little one” in Josephs 39th year of life. The title “Little One” would have only been applied no later than Benjamin’s 17th Birthday, and most likely would not have been used beyond his 11th to 13th Birthday. It means that when Joseph was 39 yrs old, for Benjamin to have already been in the world, and Rachael to have died giving birth to Benjamin prior to Joseph being sold into slavery, Benjamin would have had to have been a MINIMUM of 21 years old when Joseph by Josephs 39th birthday, he would not have been deemed a “Little One” at that point, rather he would have been a full grown man.
Genesis 41: 46 And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
Genesis 41:47 And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.
Genesis 41:48 And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.
Genesis 41:49 And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
Genesis 41:50 And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.
Genesis 41:51 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.
Genesis 41:52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
Genesis 41:53 And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.
So by Genesis 41:53 we see that Joseph was 30 yrs old when he stood before Pharaoh, and then 7 years of PLENTY pass, and he is then 37 yrs old. 20 years have passed since he was 17 years old and sold into slavery. Then we see in Genesis 42 the first visit to Egypt to by grain by Josephs brethren. He accuses them of being spies. He ends up keeping Simeon and demanding they bring Benjamin to Egypt to prove they are not spies. They return home, and delay going back until the grain from the first trip is nearly gone. They talk their father into letting them take Benjamin back to prove they are not spies, and in such
Gen 43:6 And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?
Gen 43:7 And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
Gen 43:8 And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.
In such, we see Judah refer to Benjamin as a BOY, as “A LAD” at a point 22 years AFTER Joseph was sold into Slavery! And again, we see a reference to the age of Benjamin in all of this in Chapter 44
18 Then Judah came near unto him, and said, Oh my lord, let thy servant, I pray thee, speak a word in my lord's ears, and let not thine anger burn against thy servant: for thou art even as Pharaoh.
19 My lord asked his servants, saying, Have ye a father, or a brother?
20 And we said unto my lord, We have a father, an old man, and a child of his old age, a little one; and his brother is dead, and he alone is left of his mother, and his father loveth him.
21 And thou saidst unto thy servants, Bring him down unto me, that I may set mine eyes upon him.
So Judah refers to the conversation from the last visit he made to Egypt as he pleads with Joseph, and cites of Benjamin as being “A Child of his (Jacob’s) Old Age” and also as being “A LITTLE ONE”!
Do you remember what Joseph’s title was in Genesis 37? It says
Genesis 27:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age:
And shortly after Judah Makes his Plea, Joseph breaks down in tears and reveals his identity! And he states to his brothers…
Genesis 45: 6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
Establishing at that point, it is two years into the Famine, making Joseph 39 yrs old at the time Judah keeps calling Benjamin a boy, a “LAD”, and a “Little One”, some 22 years AFTER Joseph was sold into slavery!
