The GOP did run interference on President Obama on several issues, most notable the one Mr. Chris mentioned. However, I don't think any President has dealt with interference like Trump has.
Delayed cabinet picks based on no real merit. Eliminating Obamacare (by the way, one that Obama got through despite interference). Trump's getting interference from his own party as well which is a major statement and problem.
Bi-partisanship no longer exist in most of congress. It's smear the other guy until we get our man back in. That's not going to change anytime soon.
I hope, if nothing else they work together to improve the economy and put people back to work. I don't care who gets credit, I just want it to get done. When people are working in good jobs that pay good wages, they can afford their own healthcare. They can afford their own phones and they can afford to provide for their family.
All the other stuff is nothing more than political propaganda by one side or the other. Gun control, abortion, things like free college for all? Speech making crap to get their forces excited. Those items will be here long after we're all dead and gone.
