I'm glad the light is shining on the practices of the airline industry.
I hate everything about flying and it has nothing with the actual flying itself.
It has to do with the greedy bastards that own the airlines. Mergers aren't good for anybody but the people at the top.
"We think you'll like the changes we have made" usually means it's time to look out --- for increased fees, smaller seats, and more jerking around for the customers behind the first six rows.
They could care less about the people in their planes, only how they can separate them from their money.
In monopolistic environments -- they don't even have to pretend to give a damn. Just ask your local cable company.
