Okay so I'm watching a show on Fox (Outnumbered) and no, it's not just because there are four beautiful women participating in the conversation.
They just spoke about another "women's march" taking place tomorrow in places like Virginia. Marches are good, I encourage them. However, they are saying that local school districts are closing because they anticipate high numbers of female staff shortages due to the march.
That's crap. Kids need to be in school. We're already criticized for failing schools in this nation and now we want to lose a day of education so "educators" can march? That's not fair to the kids or to their parents who pay the taxes to send those kids to school despite their political stance.
I would hope these teachers are docked for this day. It certainly isn't like calling off sick. Let's remember what our schools are for folks. Protests on the weekend. Protest on your own time but serve your children.
