Oh and on a foot note the dr. didn't sell it to the school. He donated the building and ground to our masonic lodge. At that time there was a group who broke away from or main body and was going to build a new hall on that lot. They later found out that it could not be put there for a variety of reasons (liquor availability) among those. That group traded the land for a spot in the shopping center in Pontoon and then owner James Green sold it to the original church that was there for years. ( As a former member of the church who ultimately sold it to the school, of those facts I am sure)
