I have been watching this unfold on facebook. Nothing more than a brand new story with the same ending. Transparency my a$$ and notice the dollar signs I used in the word "a$$" because this is what this whole mess boils down to. Not dollars to save the district money or to prevent cutting programs. It's dollars for the board to continue to approve raises to this administration, and allow them all to keep up their lifestyle.

I have a question I would love for one of the board members to answer. What is their roll? Exactly what is it that we elect them to do? Are they put in place to consider the opinions and suggestions and ideas and to be a voice and representation of the voters who elected them?

Or once elected are they in place to do whatever they choose, without any concerns of what the voters think? They all promised this "transparency" when they are campaigning, but once they are elected they quickly fall right in line with the we will do what WE see fit and you will all hear about it AFTER we vote on it.

That's right folks. The plans and discussions and decision making is NONE of our business and NOT to be disclosed or discussed with the public. Another big ole festering nasty secret kept behind closed doors and will not be revealed until the plan is signed sealed and delivered and on the books, or in other words, NOT OPEN FOR DISCUSSION OR DEBATE! So much for the standard tiresome pat response of "come to the meetings" "come to the meetings" "come to the meetings" "come to the meetings". The only reason to "come to the meeting" will be to hear what THEY voted on without giving a single sh*t what the voters think about it.

The money dumped into this building to get it just perfect for the ECC and now all of a sudden the school board just has to relocate. Why? Why is this absolutely necessary right now? Why is this move needed so badly? Who in that building no longer wants to be in that part of town? Give the voters a reason this move has to take place.

Why is it when Mr Greenwald and these board members are backed into a corner with a question they just can not get by with running away from, they all of a sudden sound exactly like a damn politician? All vague generic answers without a bit of true and direct or precise meaning. "We will always do what's best for the children of this district" guess what, that answer is NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I can't wait for election time to get rid of every single one of these people, ESPECIALLY the newest members that blew smoke up the rear end of the voters to get elected with false promises of transparency, goals of operating within a reasonable budget (no more raises) and most of all CHANGE, what a joke!
