There were so many times I had wished my family never had took me out of Granite City, FOR WEST LOS ANGELES. At 11 years old in Sept 1945, I was so very sad. My grandparents HAD THE M0NEY, they owned 2 houses on Cleveland Blvd and we lived in one of them.They decided to move to Calif, so we had to go along. In Sept my husband Jim and I are flying to Chicago, then to St. Johns Indiana see his sister & family, we will rent a car, see them for a few days, then driving down to Clinton to the Apple & Pork festival for a few days, friends that live there.I am driving down by myself to Granite City, would like to have lunch with anyone interested, be fun to meet my friends!!! I will be there for 1 night. Have no idea yet which day. I emailed Charlie, we met 2 years ago. Hopefully she can join me. I hope it works out. One day is better than nothing for sure. If anyone is interested write to me where is a good place to meet.... Carpe Diem x0x0x0x0x0
