My husband is a veteran and unfortunately his employer wont allow him to take off work for events such as these so he never gets to go... I have attended but it would be nice if he could...someday maybe when he retires I guess. I still believe that all veterans should get veterans day off as a paid holiday if they are working. Would be a good way to honor their past service.
