I just learned this morning that the Pontoon Rd crossing will have at least one additional track put in. The RR is filling in the lake between Pontoon & Morrison Rd and putting in a second road way leading back to all the additional tracks near Morrison Rd.
The RR worker chuckled as he explained that there are no current laws to prevent what he called "constant" blockage of the road. As he stated, "there is no need to try to permanently close that road" it will be blocked the majority of the time and nothing can be done about it.
He again chuckled as he talked about the property values in the area taking a nose dive.
