According to their website it's $23.00 per month or $9.95 per month if you pay for 6 months, but there is a 14-day free trial. Just have to remember to cancel if you decide you don't like it. I have a couple of friends who have tried it, though I haven't personally. One is a genealogy buff and she loves it.
From what she says, the more personal information you know, the more information you can get off the website. Things such as names, birth date, places lived, etc. All that creates more connections that can be crossed to other people. So, if you have a fair amount of info and are looking to get more, you'll probably find it. If you have hardly any info, you probably won't be as successful.
