Sad thing is, this is no new business. Mark has been there a long time, sticking it out during the worst of times for the downtown area.
He should have been THE FIRST to get revitalization assistance and cooperation--and gratitude for hanging in there when other businesses fled or failed.
Instead--some "officials" with WAY too much power over others have decided that Mark's business and chosen livelihood doesn't fit in with their "new" image of what they want to see downtown.
So, instead of a booming billiards club, there, he'll just be another downtown business that ends up failing--through no fault of Mark's.
The pompous bureaucracy sickens me. They should be removed from their positions for their blatant discrimination.
Give him a probationary liqueur license--if his place becomes a trouble spot, don't renew it. Easy--and FAIR!!!!
