i think the mandate will go... but i think many of the other changes made to healthcare as a result of obamacare will stay. only in Florida did they challenge all of it. this country and it's people do not want pre-existing conditions, we have acknowledged that our healthcare system is inferior to many other countries despite being the most expensive - and everyone wants fair access to healthcare... the american people want and expect better than to be bankrupted for care essential to life. in my opinion - the mandate was a way to try to respect the existance of insurance companies and provide that access to everyone at the same time - and for that reason, that part of it may be struck down. i say screw insurance companies - and i also think the government should provide "insurance" and put them all out of business. take the profit out of healthcare. this rests upon the fact that i think the regulation of life is as important as the regulation of power sources and utility works. but the question then becomes - how do we expand access and coverage to more people? how do we help our most vulnerable citizens? obviously - the market could not fix itself, as it was driven by greed. obviously - SOMETHING must be done to remedy the leading cause of bankruptcy in this country... so again i ask - as i have asked for...months now... WHAT IS THE REPUBLICAN SOLUTION???
