My point is that it's misleading to other board members to say (in the thread subject, no less) that they are already laws, especially with no links to articles regarding the issues/bills.
Regarding the possible repeal of the helmet law, Jay Nixon had already vetoed a similar bill in 2009. If the same thing happens, it will take quite a bit for this to become law.
Regarding the welfare bill, there are actually three separate bills proposed and being heard in the state senate. So these three bills would have to be reduced to one, then debated/approved, reconciled with the bill that approved in the house. (THEN go to the governor.)
