People should be smart enough to not text while driving. (Do these people also read books while driving? - There's no law against it. Then there are the idiots who put on makeup. - No law against that, either.) There should be random drug testing for government assistance. And, wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle should be a choice for adults to make for themselves. (I feel the same way regarding seat belts.)
